The Scrape & Scoop Story

Johnny Gabel is “not your average” ice cream truck guy. He founded Scrape & Scoop in 2018, and ever since has been serving up his homemade ice cream with a warm smile and his friendly banter.

Johnny graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, which enabled him to develop a cleaner ice cream than other products available on the market. His artisanal ice cream avoids harmful ingredients that are commonly used by other commercial ice cream companies such as gums, binders, and other additives. Scrape and Scoop promises delicious, fresh, and safe ice cream made from scratch, as well as many other novelty items with a unique twist. Our mouth-watering menu also offers dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free options to meet all your needs.
